How to "Beet" high blood pressure

Beetroot is the Jewel of the Vegetable Kingdom:

Beets are loaded with Potassium, Magnesium, Beta-Carotene and Folate (one of the B Vitamins).  These nutrients can help keep your heart healthy, your bones strong and even prevent cancer.

Eating a few beets regularly will help keep your blood pressure down.  Other foods high in Potassium, like dried Apricots and Avocados (my favorite food) will help do that too. 

So next week when you're at the store, grab some beets and get them into your body – shred them onto the top of your salad or juice them. Your heart will love you for it!
